In one month the Hawaii Immersion Retreat occurs.  For the past year and a half, immersion has become an important theme in my life.  In fact, how I began to conceptualize the concept of immersion started when I committed to doing the program in Hawaii.

     My ideas around immersion came about when one day someone said, "What's your vision for your program?"  This question caused me to realize several things - 1) I realize that every time I thought about "my vision", I was seeing things "off in the future", and 2) I realize that every time I thought about "my vision", I was feeling that my desires were somewhere "off in the future".  The energy I was producing with "my vision" was something like, "Oh, I wish I now had _______________, wouldn't it be great if it could someday, possibly get here?"  I desired it, NOW.  But how could it ever get to me NOW if my energy was focused on achieving this "off in the future?"  It suddenly came to me that when I was creating "my vision", I was actually creating energy about something that I didn't have.  I was creating lack.

     This was a problem.  Like energy attracts like energy as the Law of Attraction states.  So for all the time I was thinking that I was creating energy about my desires, each time I "visioned", I was only creating lack.  To put something outside myself and "in the future" was not working to produce my desired outcome.  The motivating energy I was producing was lack and this lack became the "purchase" order to God and the Universe.  It became the order to filled.  What I realize is that if I was to use the Law of Attraction to produce a desired outcome,  I needed to get out of soaking myself in the energy of lack and instead immerse myself in the energy of my desired outcomes.  If something is a "vision" it remains "out there", "in the future".  Your vision cannot get to you if you use "in the future" as your motivating energy, because whatever it is can only remain "in the future."  To create your desires you need to soak yourself in the energy of being the desire, NOW.  Thus immersion instead of vision.

     At our Hawaii Immersion Retreat, the energy of change, peace, and creating the life you desire will be magnified by all the participants, practitioners, and Pe'le, the Goddess of the Volcano, the creative and intense energy of the island.  (You really can't get a bigger metaphor for creation than an active volcano!)  Think of all this energy working toward your heart's desire.  It may be last minute but consider joining us for this Immersion Retreat on my favorite place on earth, the Big Island, Hawaii.  Aloha!
